The South River High School Golf team won the opening match of the 2008 Season at Eisenhower. The Seahawks were led by Senior Josh Eure with a score of 32, followed by Sophomore Dylan Luiza with a 38 and fellow Sophomore Garrett Harding with a 39. Junior Kevin Loftis rounded out the top 4 for South River with a 41.
South River finished with a team score of 150, 12 strokes ahead of second place Broadneck and 20 strokes ahead of Arundel.
