For the first time in nine years, the Seahawks defeated the Bruins today with a final score of 2 to 1. Tori Barger and Emily Bucknall drove in the two runs in the third inning. Morgan O'Brien threw seven solid innings and had huge help from the outfield that kept Broadneck at bay with 4 huge putouts. O'Brien also got the Bruins to pop up to the infield seven times. Huge game and a huge win early in the season for the Seahawks.
