The Seahawks fought hard against Glen Burnie in the first round of the playoffs. The Gophers came out the victors with a score of 6 to 1. The Hawks collected six hits but could not put them together and only produced one run. Pitcher Morgan O'Brien held the Gophers to ten hits and six runs. Catcher Jordan Sganga went 2 for 2 at the plate and added a walk and a run. Melissa DeBari drove in the lone run in the sixth inning. Coach Williams would like to thank all of the girls for working hard all season long. To the three seniors Melissa DeBari, Brandi Dohm, and Michelle Elliott we wish nothing but the best.
