In an exciting opening to the season the Seahawks placed five runs on the board in the top of the seventh inning to defeat the Bulldogs 5 to 3. The rally was started by Taylor Smith who led off the inning with a walk. Andy Jones then singled. After being moved over by Raegan Mahoney, Carson Mahoney tripled to right field to drive in two runs. A passed ball scored Carson for the tying run. Olivia Laurenzano hit safely as well as Christine Miles. Alyssa Turner then doubled to left field to drive in the winning run. Raegan Mahoney pitched all seven innings striking out eight and not giving up an earned run.
