South River scored half of its points on "double bagels" as the Seahawks pounced on Glen Burnie early on a blustry April day for an 8-1 victory.

Senior Maya Fromme and Sophomore Adam Russel scored 6-0, 6-0 victories in number two girls' and boys' singles respectively to lead the 'Hawks.  Sophomore Xiaosong Shang and the doubles team of Sophomore Hannah Parks and Freshman Katie Simmons also scored 6-0, 6-0 victories.  Those three have yet to drop a game this season.

The win moved South River to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in county play.  Tennis will return to action on Monday at 3:30 p.m., when Northeast travels to Edgewater.
