South River won their second game of the year against the Meade Mustangs on a hot sunny day in Edgewater. The Seahawks front line of Jackie Natoli, Catherine Scamurra and Kelsie McGlynn peppered the Mustangs keeper in the first half without success. The Mustangs keeper made numerous saves until Erin Grigsby broke through with her first goal of the season. The second half was much like the first with South River outshooting Meade by ten shots to one. The great play of the Mustangs keeper allowed Meade to keep the game in play but the offense was unable to get a shot past Seahawks keeper Colleen Wagner and settled for a one goal loss.
