South River opened the 2015 season playing out of county at Patterson Mill High School on an overcast afternoon.  The Seahawks dominated play throughout the first half but the great play of the Huskies keeper kept the Huskies in the game resulting in a scoreless halftime.  Three minutes into the second half a Patterson Mill player was called for a hand ball in the box giving the Seahawks a penalty kick.  Katelyn Kunert put the shot into the right corner of the goal to give South River the lead.  Minutes later Evelyn Stevens took a pass from Erin Grigsby and put a low shot past the keeper for a 2-0 Seahawks lead.  The back line of Molly Youmans, Madison Baratta, Kaley Feldhausen and Zoe Racette held Patterson Mill without a single shot on keeper Colleen Wagner the entire game.  The South River offense managed nineteen shots on the Huskies keeper and the game ended with a 2-1 Seahawks victory.
