South River traveled to Broadneck for their fourth straight away game on a warm sunny afternoon. The Seahawks dominated the offensive play and had several shots on goal in the first minutes of the game. Ten minutes into the game Claire McElhenny took a pass from Amy Emminizer and shot past the Bruins keeper to give South RIver a 1-0 lead. Later in the half, Erin Grigsby found an open Jayqueline Natoli in front of the goal who fired a shot past the outreached hands of the keeper to give South River a 2-0 lead which they took into halftime. The Seahawks continued to pressure the Bruins keeper throughout the second half but were unable to add to their lead. The Bruins managed only five shots in the game to the Seahawks 26. South River keeper, Colleen Wagner, recorded her third shutout on the season.
