South River faced the Broadneck Bruins on a hot overcast day on the Seahawks home field.  The Seahawks pressured the Bruins taking several shots on goal in the opening minutes.  Only excellent play by the Broadneck keeper kept the game scoreless until Lissette Carneiro dribbled through the Bruins defense to score unassisted at the thirteen minute mark.  The lead was pushed to 2-0 six minutes later when Marisa Falsone passed to Carneiro in the box who fired a shot under the keeper's hands into the goal.  The Bruins defense held the Seahawks scoreless for the next fifteen minutes until Ana Goforth scored unassisted and South River went into halftime with a 3-0 lead.  The Seahawks were unable to add to their lead due to some excellent saves by the Bruins goalkeeper until Goforth scored her second unassisted goal of the game at the 53 minute mark.  At the 65 minute mark, Falsone finished out the scoring on an unassisted goal over the outreached hands of the keeper in the side netting for a final score of 5-0.  South River goalkeepers, Jordan Vincent and Kelsey Winters helped the Seahawks to their third shutout of the season.
