The Seahawks traveled to Annapolis to face the Bruins of Broadneck High School.. South River had several opportunities to open the scoring but excellent goalkeeping by the Bruins keeper stymied the Seahawks and the first half ended scoreless. Broadneck scored on their first shot of the second half when they put in a rebound off the Seahawks keeper, Maddie DuBois. Minutes later the Bruins lofted a shot over DuBois to make the score 2-0. South River was held scoreless for the first time in two years with some great saves by the Broadneck keeper and shots off the post.
