The Panthers of Annapolis High School traveled to Edgewater to face the Seahawks.  South River immediately put pressure on the Panthers and kept the majority of the play on the Annapolis side of the field.  South River was awarded eight corner kicks in the first half.  The Panthers were able to keep the Seahawks off the board due to excellent play by the Annapolis keeper.   Alex Hagen broke the scoreless tie when she took Gabby Holbert's corner kick and fired past the keeper for a 1-0 Seahawks lead.  Annapolis was able to keep the Seahawks off the board for the remainder of the play and the first half ended with the 1-0 lead.  The second half started fast for the Seahawks two minutes into the play when Maddie Kunst took a rebound off the Annapolis keeper and put it into the goal for a 2-0 South River lead.  The Panthers were able to keep the Seahawks from adding to the score until Hagen scored her second goal unassisted at the 88 minute mark for a 3-0 South River final score.  The Seahawks had seventeen corner kicks to zero for Annapolis.  The Panthers were held without a shot on goal by the defensive back line of the Seahawks.
