The Knights of North County High School traveled to Edgewater to face South River.  The Seahawks started the game on fire scoring three goals in the first six minutes of the game.  Alyssa Cowens scored unassisted in the first minute of the game.  Anna Ballard then fired a direct kick over the keeper’s head from 25 yards out and Jonna Anderson assisted Adriana Parker for the 3 - 0 lead.  Calen Norton scored unassisted at the ten minute mark for a four goal lead.  Krista DiPalma pushed the lead to five when Kambrea Smith assisted her in the goal box.  North County tested the back line of the Seahawks defense a few times but was unable to get a shot on goal.  The halftime lead was 6 - 0 when Makenzie Cooke crossed a high pass into the goal box which Sami Bustos headed into the goal.  The second half started with more Seahawks offense when Kambrea Smith scored two minutes into the half when Cooke recorded her second assist on a pass into the box.  The Knights held the Seahawks scoreless for thirteen minutes until Cooke notched her third assist of the game with a pass to Parry Wilson for an 8 - 0 South River lead.  Wilson scored again three minutes later unassisted for a nine goal lead.  Two minutes later, Wilson then assisted Maddie Kunst for a 10 - 0 South River lead.  The final score of 11 - 0 was reached when Bustos scored her second goal of the game six minutes before the final whistle.  Sam Smith and Maddie Dubois combined for South RIver’s ninth consecutive shutout.
