On February 17, 2009:

Lamar Rogers is the third place finisher in the boy’s 4A 55-meter dash.  

Jen Whitfield is the second place finisher in the girl’s 4A pole vault.

LaRel and LaRia Rogers placed 8^th and 10^th in the girl’s 4A 300-meter dash, respectfully.  LaRel’s performance at the State meet allowed her to break the school record.  She ran 40.54.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell everyone who participated in the SRHS Indoor Track & Field team how proud I am of you.  Everything we did this season was a significant accomplishment that undoubtedly required the dedication and cooperation of the whole team.  Let’s bring that drive and competitive nature with us to the Outdoor season.
